The current administration sometimes reacts thin-skinned to criticism – but that is also the task of the municipal council, even if the top management may not like it. I have voiced such criticism where appropriate in recent years and have not simply rubber-stamped everything. The attentive observer will recognize that I am obviously not the preferred candidate of our incumbent mayor. You don’t just make friends with uncomfortable announcements, but you do fulfill your obligations as a local councilor.
